Art History
Join us on a trip through time. We’ll look at artwork from important times throughout history. We’ll create prehistoric cave drawings, ancient Egyptian art, Medieval costume design Renaissance and cubist portraits, and abstract expressionism.
Students will experience a wide range of media, as well as art history while creating fun, open ended pieces of art.
So wear your old clothes ‘cause you’ll probably get messy. And be sure to bring a smile!
Instructor: April D’Angelo
April D’Angelo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has been painting since 1988 and she’s run summer art classes since 1991.
April paints portraits and illustrates children’s books.
